BEST MEMORY My best memory is when I was ten and I found out that all the scary monsters weren't actually monsters but instead, ghosts. It all happened when I actually decided to talk to a monster one night instead of just hiding under my blankets. You know, that was a very good idea, talking to the ghost that is. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was actually talking to someone who could possibly get along with me; which is saying something because not many people can get along with me. Me and the ‘monster’ talked about things like how he died, he fell off a roof during a photo shoot, and then what he used to do for a profession, he was a successful male model apparently. I also found out that he’s 21 and died in the year 1994. Now, that ghost, Benny, is my best friend. I'm not like those people who talk to ghosts and get them to pass on or whatever, I just give them someone to talk to or something. If they want help, if I'm in the right mood, I'll help them.
WORST MEMORY There was one time when my dad came into my room with three men, it was just last year. I didn't really know what he was doing until he pulled me off the bed and yanked off my PJ's. Anyways, I'll spare you the details. But, that is my worst memory. I'm sure it's not the worst thing that’s happened to me, but it's the worst thing that I can remember.
OVERALL PERSONALITY
• BITCHY – Over all, the one personality trait that best describes Gemma is Bitchy. Why is this? Well, it’s because she is a bitch. In the horror movies, she would almost always be the bitchy one who everyone wants to die off first. Either that, or she’d be the bitchy one of whom people somehow liked because of how much of a bitch she was.
• FLIRTY – Gem has this problem where if there’s a hot guy around she tends to become somewhat giggly and happy. Not that she isn’t normally happy and giggly… well, never mind, she usually isn’t. She doesn’t have anything wrong with it though, it just gets annoying when you flirt with every human that has a penis.
• SLUTTY – Even though she hates hoes and how they sleep with everyone, she has to admit that she’s pretty much the same. At least she has standards. Her standards are simple: if the guys hot she’ll do whatever he wants basically, if he isn’t then he might as well count on her to leave soon.
• DEPENDABLE – Even if she isn’t the most trustworthy, you can depend on her. Sure, if you were to tell her a secret then you shouldn’t count on it being a secret for long; but she was always on time and ready to go. It was probably a good asset if she were to ever want to get a job. Not that she plans on getting a job anytime soon.
• SPOILED – No, she isn’t a daddy’s girl, anything but. She is, though, a momma’s girl. Her mom might not be around very much, but when she is Gem’s life is pretty fun. No, her mom doesn’t save her from her dad; but they can talk and her mom gives her anything she wants whenever she wants. Her dad does too of course, but that’s just so she will leave him alone and not because he wants to.
• INDEPENDENT – Gemma has basically had to count on herself for the most part of her life. Why that is she isn’t sure. Oh right, because of her dad. Since her dad beats her whenever he gets the chance, she’s had to look out for number one her whole life. She usually doesn’t get much of a choice in the matter of being independent of not.
• IMPATIENT – For some reason Gem cannot wait for anything. Doesn’t matter if she’s waiting for something bad, like for her dad to get home, or something good; she’s always waiting impatiently. She can’t sit still when she knows that something is going to happen or she’s going to get something. Too bad this usually ends up in her father doing something to her because he felt she was being too impatient.
• COMPETETIVE – It’s not that life is a competition… never mind, life totally is a competition. Whether it be with herself or with someone else, she’s always in a competition of some sort. At one point in her life she was in a competition with Benny of who could eat the most pizza. Well, she obviously won that one.
• EASYGOING – Gemma usually just goes with the flow, even if she hates it. One of the worst things can happen to her and she’s just shrug it off and say that it was fate or something like that. This sort of attitude was probably picked up from Benny because he has the same attitude and since he’s always hanging around her for some reason, it sort of rubbed off.
• STUDIOUS – Even though she likes to party, Gem works just as hard as she plays if not harder. Seeing as she wants to get into a good university like Harvard or Yale, she knows she has to study hard. Especially in math, that’s the subject she has to prepare the most for. Even though she has a 98.7% average at the moment, if she gets another bad mark in math that might take her note down some. And that just can’t happen. [/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/li][/ul]

OVERALL HISTORY When Gem was first born, her life was pretty great, or so she was told. From what she remembers of being a little kid, it was really fun. While she was little she lived in a small town called Quispamsis. It was a great little town, and she was a happy little girl. Sure, her mom and dad weren't around all that much because they where both trying to get their careers jump started; but it was still a fulfilling childhood nonetheless. Even if she was only under the age of 8 when she lived in Quispamsis, she knew from the start in a way that only little girls can, that it was a great place to live. Maybe it wasn't the most ideal place for people who wanted big careers like her parents; but for her, it was perfect.
Her perfect fantasy childhood dream place was torn away from her at the ripe age of 8 1/2 because her father got a job in Florida. Well, this was another place where every little kid dreamed of going. She was going to live there; how lucky could you get? It was marvelous, just the thought of being able to not have to look at snow every winter or rain all the time. Soon, she'd be lapping up the rays of sun while playing outside with some new friends. It did hurt her a bit to have to leave so many friends of hers behind; but she wasn't even nine yet so she had plenty of time to make some more. Besides, she could always keep in touch with them by e-mail or snail mail if she wanted.
When she moved into her house in sunny Orlando, Florida, Gemma couldn't help herself from running all through the house and visiting every room. At first her dad just laughed it off as childhood curiosity, but after a few minutes he grew tired of it and grabbed her by the back of her shirt and planted her onto her feet. Well, it wasn't very violent so she thought nothing of it. Gem just went away slowly and tried to act more sophisticated while checking out the house. It took her a while, but finally she got through all the rooms. This of course, meant that she knew exactly which one was going to become hers. In the end Gem settled on a huge bedroom that was painted a dark purple color with a picturesque window looking out over the ocean with a balcony.
Why was it that when parents found something good they just had to take it away? Well, it turns out that her father got transferred again. This time she was 10 and had already made some really great friends. So, how come her parents wanted to take her away from them? It was simple really, where they were going they were going to make even more money then they already did; if that was possible. In Gem's little kid brain it seemed like they already had all the money in the world, so now she thought they were going to have the most money in the universe! It was a rather exciting though to think her parents were that important, so she didn't give much of a hassle when moving.
After they had gotten to New Orleans, where she is now, her life basically went down hill. Her father started drinking whenever he wasn't on call and then he'd bring friends home if her mother was gone. Gemma was beaten, raped, and many more things. When she was 14 she met Todd, and they started going out. It was perfect at first; but then everything changed. He started to hit her and became overly possessive. At first she thought him not liking other guys looking at her to be cute and sort of sweet; but then she realized that it was so much more worse then that. He would force her to do things she didn't want to and when it came to cheering he didn't want her to. So, she had to quit.
It took her a while to get away from Todd, but now she's free of him and only has to deal with her father. Gem is back on the cheer squad and happy as ever. OK, so she's still a total bitch and all; but at least she's somewhat happy. A lot of the time she's scared that she's going to see Todd around or something; but so far he's seemed to stay away from her. Maybe it'll keep up and she won't have to deal with him again; but she doubts it. Good things can only last for so long. [/SIZE][/FONT][/ul][/COLOR]

Gemma was sitting in her room with a pillow over her face. To be specific, she was laying in her room on her bed with a pillow over her face. Having finally decided to go to bed, she was now utterly bored and unable to fall asleep. Which was bad, very bad. She'd been without sleep for the past 48 hours. meaning she should be more than ready to fall asleep. But no, for some strange reason her body didn't seem to react from being sleep deprived. In other words, Gem was pretty sure that the coffee was finally starting to work. Well, took it long enough. Too bad that it was so late working, now she was trying to sleep instead of trying to stay awake. Next time, she was going to have to drink the coffee before school instead of after it. That might have been why it was just starting to kick in now, seeing as how she'd been drinking it non-stop from after school.
Sh had to get up early in the morning too. As much as she loved working at the diner, it was a pain to have to get up at 7 in the morning on the weekend just to go to work at 8. Gemma had taken tonight off at the bar, in order to get some sleep. Well, apparently that wasn't about to happen. If she hadn't been so struck on sleeping, she probably would have got up and gone to the bar. But, instead she was trying to sleep with the pillow covering her face instead of behind her head. Well, no one said she was perfect. In fact, she was far from perfect and pretty much everyone knew it. If anyone was perfect, it was Allen, Aika, and Alex. All the A's and all the vampires. Perfect people that they were, or at least to her they were perfect.
Was it just her or was she more awake now then she was when she had actually slept? Gem was wondering along those lines when she spotted the piece of paper that was sitting on her desk. After taking the pillow from her face that is. Getting up, she walked over to it, picked it up, and then picked the phone up at the same time. Whether this was a good idea or not, she wasn't really sure. But, Craig had said to call him whenever. So, she was going to call him. Gemma didn't need any help with anything, but she did want to talk to him or see him or something! It had only been a few days since they'd last spoke, but she was starting to miss him. Wow, she really had it bad. As she dialed the number and listened to it ringing on the other end. When he didn't pick up, she heeded his advice and called a second time; crossing her fingers and hoping for the sound of a familiar voice on the other end.
